Although we are not set up for you to be present at the euthanasia at these locations, you may view your pet afterward if you wish.
We will take your pet to a warm, quiet room and perform humane euthanasia promptly. This procedure is carried out with kindness and respect.

When you arrive, turn left, look for the veterinary services parking spot, and proceed to the Roath Veterinary Services Entrance.
Buddy Center in Castle Rock

When you arrive, park in front of the building and proceed to the Pet Intake Lost and Found Entrance.
Veterinary Services
If you would like to be present for the entirety of your pet’s end of life visit, the Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur offers euthanasia services via appointment and walk-in. Please call the hospital at 303-722-5800 to schedule an appointment, or walk-in anytime Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm.
Please note that our fees are higher than the fees at the shelter due to the individualized experience and extended visiting time.
Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur

Parking on the CSU Spur campus is available on the south side the Vida building on Bettie Cram Drive, as well as the in the lot north of the Vida Building of National Western Drive, behind Dumb Friend’s League Veterinary Hospital. Follow the signs on the sidewalk to the south, and proceed to the cat or dog lobby doors.

Owner Present Euthanasia & Individual Cremation (ashes returned):
- Less than 3 pounds: $165
- 3–49.9 pounds: $205
- 50 pounds or more: $245
Hospital Fees**
Consultation with Veterinarian (required for new patients): $45
Owner Present Euthanasia & Communal Cremation:
- Less than 50lbs: $125
- 50lbs or more: $185
Owner present Euthanasia & Individual Cremation (ashes returned):
- Less than 50lbs: $320
- 50lbs or more: $370
*No pet will be denied humane end-of-life care due to the owner’s inability to pay.
